The lesson “Jesus Heals the Man at Betheseda” further develops the children’s understanding of the power of Jesus through the story of Him healing the lame. Each child will identify one or more ways Jesus cared for the hurt, disabled, and the sick, and also verbalize how it might feel to have a disability. The children will discuss together ways how God takes care of each and every one of them. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the 34th lesson in the 2nd Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “New Testament” unit.
