The lesson “Communicates without Aggression” teaches children about the importance of effective communication and positive exchanges based on developing Godly character. Children are taught to identify the difference between aggressive and unkind words and positive verbal expression. They will come to understand the outcome of aggressive words, such as hurt feelings, and will model kind ways to respond and interact with others as an alternative. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the 30th lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Communications Skills” unit.
