The lesson “Awareness of Role in the Family” teaches children the importance of responsibility and healthy interactions with others, specifically those in a family setting. Children understand their role within their own family and will name at least three important things he or she contributes to the family by playing that role. Children will understand their personal importance in the immediate family and God’s family. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the eleventh lesson in the 2nd ear Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Family” unit.
