The lesson “God Gave Me Legs” is part 6 of a 42 part series on parts of the human body, health, and safety. This lesson teaches about the legs and the different parts of the legs. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning about the legs, hands-on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end. The lesson also includes a game to play to teach the different parts of the legs. This lesson is designed for a group of young children between the ages of 3 and 5, and is the sixth physical development lesson in the Core Curriculum, 3-5 years, Year One.
