The lesson “Volcanic Eruption” teaches children about the phenomenon of a volcanic eruption, informing them about why and how the natural disaster occurs. The children will be able to define safe behavior during a volcanic eruption. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the 19th lesson in the 2nd Year “Natural Disaster Prevention and Response” unit.
