The lesson “The Beginning: God Made Day, Night, Sea, Land” teaches children about how God created the earth. They will name the four things God made in the beginning: day, night, land, and sea. Each child will name one thing they do during the day and night or that they see in the sea and the land. Children will identify God as the maker of all things. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the second lesson in the 2nd Year “Old Testament” unit.
