The lesson “Abraham Believes God” tells the story from Genesis about what God promised to Sarah and Abraham. The children will each identify the promise and will be able to explain why Sarah laughed and how Abraham had faith in God. Each child will list at least two ways he or she can obey God. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the seventh lesson in the 1st Year “Old Testament” unit.
