The lesson “Pre-Natal HIV/AIDS Prevention to the Newborn” educates the mother/caregiver on how HIV is transmitted from a pregnant mother to her baby. She will learn the importance of seeking medical attention to treat HIV and AIDS during pregnancy as well as ways to prevent HIV transmission from mother to child. If applicable, she will also determine a plan to secure medical attention for preventing HIV transmission.
