The lesson “Getting Around My Community – Mechanical Transportation” teaches children about the different modes of mechanical transportation available in their community, such as bikes, wagons, buses, cars, etc. Each child will differentiate between self-generated and mechanical modes of transportation. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the 22nd lesson in the 1st Year “Understanding My Community” unit.
